Chartered Building Surveyors

The work of the Chartered Building Surveyor is concerned with the way in which buildings are put together. This requires a detailed knowledge of building construction (both buildings now being erected and those built in the past) together with an appreciation of the legal, procedural and constructional aspects of buildings. The Chartered Building Surveyor also has the skills to deal with the technical problems which arise from the acquisition of property and its ownership.
