The practice of Wilde Spooner Raleigh was established as a firm of independent Chartered Building Surveyors in High Wycombe in 1986.
Our ethos is based on providing clients with sound professional advice allied to traditional personal service. The Directors of the Practice are David Raleigh, Richard Le Neve Foster and Elena MacDonald. We can't wait to hear from you.
Meet the Directors
DAVID RALEIGH
Chartered Building Surveyor
He holds a diploma in Building Surveying and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) having been elected in 1985.
David is a very experienced surveyor with particular expertise in the field of dampness and timber decay. David frequently acts as an expert witness giving evidence in court on a variety of litigation matters relating to all types of building disputes. David also has extensive experience of inspection and refurbishment of a variety of property types, including schools, churches and commercial properties, in addition to all types of residential properties.
ELENA MACDONALD
Architectural Designer
Elena is an Architectural Designer holding a BArch (Hons) degree in Architecture and has been with the firm since 2012.
Elena has extensive experience in the project management of works of refurbishment and extension to a wide variety of properties including schools, churches and residential properties. Elena has excellent design and CAD skills and produces all our architectural drawings for Planning and Building Control applications.
RICHARD LE NEVE FOSTER
Building Surveyor
Richard holds a Diploma in Residential Surveying. He is an Associate member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Chartered member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers.
Richard undertakes a variety of work and specialises in pre purchase surveys and advising on matters in relation to the Party Wall Etc Act 1996.

ANDREW SPOONER
Consultant Chartered Building Surveyor
He holds a Diploma in Building Surveying and was elected a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) in 1988.
Andrew is a very knowledgeable and proficient Building Surveyor and he also has extensive experience of Project Management and refurbishment contracts on a variety of building types including schools, churches and commercial properties, in addition to all types of residential properties throughout the south-east of England, Home Counties and France.
ELSJE APROSKIE
Personal Assistant
Elsje is David Raleigh's PA and joined the firm in 2022.
