We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic MRICS qualified Building Surveyor and an experienced Architectural Assistant/Technician/Technologist to join our friendly team in the centre of High Wycombe. We offer a full range of architectural services and provide advice on all aspects of property and construction. We work with a variety of clients from the residential, educational and commercial sectors.

EXPERIENCED ARCHITECTURAL ASSISTANT/TECHNICIAN/TECHNOLOGIST

Essential skills or experience:

  • Your Content Goes Here
  • AutoCAD- ideally some familiarity with Revit and Sketchup but this is not essential
  • Experience preparing and submitting planning applications
  • Excellent working knowledge of Building Regulations and experience preparing and submitting Full Plans applications to Building Control
  • Positive attitude
  • Practically minded, hardworking and organised
  • Managing day-to-day running of projects under supervision
  • Liaising with consultants and Local Authorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

CHARTERED BUILDING SURVEYOR

Essential skills or experience:

  • AutoCAD- ideally some familiarity with Revit and Sketchup but this is not essential
  • Experience preparing and submitting planning applications
  • Excellent working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and experience preparing and submitting Full Plans applications to Building Control
  • Excellent knowledge of building construction, and of relevant legislation, building regulation, standards and ability to manage Health & Safety during a project
  • Have the ability to undertake building surveys and prepare detailed reports on inspections of a wide variety of types of property
  • Have the ability to survey and specify required works, to diagnose and specify remedies to building defects.
  • Have the ability to prepare Party Wall Notices, Awards and Schedules of Condition
